    Recessed Downlight Offers Field-selectable Lumens

DMF Lighting, a designer and manufacturer of premium modular LED downlighting systems, has introduced the H Series, a high-performing recessed downlighting, whole-home solution. Combining an award-winning modular design—featuring a single, compact, field-adjustable LED light module—with reliable performance, the ENERGY STAR Certified LED downlights offer field-selectable lumens, Natural Warm Dim technology, quality construction and contractor-friendly installation features—all at an attainable cost.

The ENERGY STAR Certified LED downlights offer field-selectable lumens, Natural Warm Dim technology, quality construction and contractor-friendly installation features—all at an attainable cost.

The versatile LED module’s field-selectable lumens switch allows three low-glare brightness levels (350, 750 or 950 lumens) for various applications needs, including ceiling heights up to 12 feet, which simplifies installation.

The H Series features a high 90+ color rendering index (CRI) and when dimmed with a standard dimmer (down to 5 percent), the integrated Natural Warm Dim technology provides a warm white light for accurate illumination at full brightness (3000K), then smoothly transitions to a relaxing sunset effect (2200K)—all while keeping color accuracy consistent from fixture to fixture. Optimized to provide exceptional performance with any smart home or connected dimmer, the H Series is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant smart dimmer switches, among others.

The H Series is offered in 3- and 4-inch apertures with three lightweight, durable and space-saving stackable housing choices for new construction and remodel. For retrofit projects, the LED module installs into other industry compatible housings. Four contemporary, die-cast aluminum trim options include Flush, Round, Square and Adjustable and feature a high-quality finish in White. Every element of the H Series is designed to complement or disappear into any space, creating a modern, sophisticated home.

Contractor-friendly features include tool-free adjustable bar hangers for new construction specialty installations, and a new construction wood screw housing that simply installs into wood joists with alignment tabs. Quick Connect wire connectors allow for easy installation of the LED module. For more information about installing, watch the installation video.

Suitable for wet locations, the series is also Air Tight, which reduces airflow between heated or air conditioned spaces and unconditioned areas. This may help homeowners to save on HVAC bills, reduce sound transmission between floors, eliminate drafts and prevent moisture damage to ceilings. The downlights are also Type IC rated, allowing the housing to be in direct contact with ceiling insulation.

Featuring a sustainable design, the H Series is UL Listed, California’s Title-24 JA8, ENERGY STAR Certified and Living Building Challenge Declare listed. The housing is also recyclable. The series is designed to last 50,000 hours at 70 percent lumen maintenance.

DMF Lighting’s Southern California warehouse and network of suppliers in the United States ensures fast, accurate deliveries.
