American Lighting Launches Custom Cut Program

American Lighting has introduced its Custom Cut Program, which is designed to eliminate waste, save on labor, and ensure proper connections for every linear lighting project. The program offers a vast assortment of linear lighting solutions that vary in lumen output, IP ratings, and CCT and color-adjustability, as well as many other parameters that can be customized exactly to specification.

The foundation of the Custom Cut Program is to make ordering and installation much more efficient for electricians and contractors. By eliminating the time-consuming process of measuring, cutting, and assembling linear lighting fixtures onsite, the Custom Cut Program makes it as easy as possible for anyone to simply remove a fixture from its package and install their custom-made lighting solution directly into their application. An added benefit is that all materials are tested for quality before shipment to prevent additional time wasted on troubleshooting field-assembled fixtures.

Custom fixture lengths are not the only customization a consumer could specify with the Custom Cut Program. On every order, power feed type or lead wire lengths can also be chosen to ensure ideal installation dimensions in any situation. When placing a custom Trulux tape light order, one should specify how much lead wire they will need between the start of their tape light and the power supply. For 120V Hybrid 3 fixtures, it’s important to consider if a traditional 2-blade plug or bare leads would be preferred for their application. Finally, for NeonFlex Pro, one should consider if they would like their power feed to enter the fixture from the left or right of their run, and if the wiring should be fed into the back, side or start of the fixture.

American Lighting has included four unique offerings in its new Custom Cut Program, including:

    • Trulux tape light is available in many lumen outputs, IP ratings, cut requirements, and color offerings and is ideal for indoor and outdoor applications. Trulux tape light is offered in a wide variety of CCTs for single color applications, as well as Variable White, RGB, RGB+3000K and RGB + Variable White.  Trulux is sure to have the perfect light output for any accent, task or ambient lighting application with lumen outputs ranging from 150 to 1100 lumens per foot. American Lighting also offers the perfect mounting channel option for your fixture, with surface mount, recessed or drywall-installed options to choose from.
    • Hybrid 3, American Lighting’s 120V linear luminaire, is available in 3000K, 4000K and 5000K as well as RGB+3000K and innovative warm-dim technology. Hybrid 3 offers superb light output for indoor and outdoor use – single color Hybrid 3 can deliver up to 510 lumens per foot with an attractive 3” cutting increment. The 120V RGBW Hybrid 3 offers one of the longest run lengths for a color-changing linear fixture on the market, while the warm-dim Hybrid 3 gives its owner the ability to warm the CCT of the fixture from 3000K to 1800K with a simple Triac wall dimmer.
    • Neonflex Pro is the next-generation solution for achieving seamless lines of direct view lighting for any architectural-grade installation. Available in both side-bend and top-bend styles, Neonflex Pro can be ordered in 2700K, 3000K and 4000K, as well as Static Red, Green or Blue and RGB+3000K Color Changing.

An additional resource to help users select the appropriate tape light is the first-of-its-kind ACE product configurator from American Lighting. ACE offers a simple step-by-step guide to walk users through the project, asking straightforward questions about color temperature and the length of tape light that is needed for the application, among other questions. With ACE, specifiers are assured they have all the necessary materials for a beautiful linear lighting installation.
