Assortment of Tools Are Released in North America

Included in the launch is an assortment of new pliers sets, including a three-piece Top Selling Pliers set (9K 00 80 156 US).

KNIPEX Tools has formally launched long-awaited products to the North American market including the Modular X18 Backpack, Jaw Protectors for Cobra Pliers, new set assortments and more.

The German based tool company is claiming a spot in the tool backpack space with the Modular X18 Backpack. The backpack can handle up to 33 lbs. of tools, supplies, and personal belongings. It features 21 retaining loops, 37 pockets, and a removable tool board to help customize how you pack your supplies. The front and back panels fully hinge for easy access to tools and the waterproof molded bottom is made of impact-resistant plastic to keep your bag in a secure, upright position. The backpack also features MOLLE straps on the inside & outside of the bag as well as a magnetic FIDLOCK connector.

Three new jaw protectors are added to the already existing line of jaw protectors for Pliers Wrenches, this time for three sizes of the Cobra Pliers. The Jaw Protectors for Cobra Pliers are made of a smooth plastic and prevent damage to workpieces by covering all the teeth of the tool. They easily snap onto the jaw and give you a firm, non- marring bite. Each set contains three pairs of plastic protective jaws—three upper jaws and three lower jaws—that are marked “top” and “bottom” for easy identification. Jaw Protectors are available for the 7 1/4-, 10- and 12-inch Cobra Pliers produced after 2007.

Also included in the launch is an assortment of new sets. Anticipated favorites are the 2 Pc Mini Pliers Set XS in Belt Pouch (00 20 72 V04 XS), a 3 Pc Top Selling Pliers set (9K 00 80 156 US), and an 8 Pc Cobra Pliers Set (9K 00 80 149 US). New and revised sets will continue to be rolled out in the coming months.

Two new tethered bags (large and small), a tool tethering adaptor strap and a tool tethering lanyard with 13 lbs. capacity are included in the launch as well as the Pipe Cutter for Composite Pipes and the Twistor T Self-Adjusting Crimping Pliers for Wire Ferrules.
