Wayne Dalton introduces a sophisticated black premium color option with Cool Chemistry paint technology to its Classic Steel Models 8000, 8200, 8024 and 8224. This expansion allows homeowners to embrace further customization, enhancing curb appeal with the enduring value and minimal upkeep of the Classic Steel collection.

Whether homeowners want an uninsulated, single-layer steel door (Model 8000 and 8024) or a solution that offers enhanced thermal efficiency with an R-value* of 7.4, thanks to polystyrene insulation (Model 8200 and 8224), Classic Steel Models 8000 through 8224 cater to a broad range of preferences. These popular entry-level garage doors are expertly crafted with steel panels, offering versatile style, functionality and reliable performance.

In addition to the new premium paint finish, Classic Steel Models 8000 and 8200 doors are available in four standard colors — White, Almond, Taupe and Brown — or two wood grain finishes – Walnut and Mission Oak, and Classic Steel Models 8024 and 8224 doors feature a polyester finish available in White and Almond.

*Wayne Dalton uses a calculated door section R-value for our insulated doors.
