Brava Roof Tile has announced the recipients of its 2024 Excellence Awards. These awards celebrate the remarkable craftsmanship demonstrated by top roofing contractors who have chosen Brava for their projects.
With a continued commitment to excellence, Brava recognizes and honors the outstanding work of contractors who have transformed 40 winning properties, both homes and commercial spaces, using a range of Brava synthetic roofing materials. The winning projects were selected based on their exceptional quality of installation, aesthetic impact, and ability to enhance the overall appeal of the structures.
The 2024 Brava Roof Tile Excellence Award winners are as follows:
- Above And Beyond Exterior Remodelers based in Fords, N.J., has two winning projects. One, in Watchung, N.J., features Slate roof tile in the color Arendale. The second project, located in Bernardsville, N.J., is a Spanish Tile installation in the color Tuscan.
- American Custom Contractors based in Washington, D.C., for the installation of a Cedar Shake roof in Canyon Gray. Located in Fairfax, Va., the project features skylights, custom copper work, and a gazebo outfitted with Brava Roof Tile.
- BGC Expert Contractors, headquartered in Raleigh, N.C., for Cedar Shake roof in the color Aged. The multimillion-dollar townhome is located in Cary, N.C.
- Braswell Construction Group Inc., headquartered in Covington, Ga., for the installation of a Cedar Shake roof in Canyon Gray on a luxury lakefront home in Greensboro, Ga..
- Cedar Roofing Company, located in Lake Forest, Ill., has three winning projects. One, located in Libertyville, Ill., features an installation of multi-width Slate in the color Light Arendale. The second, in Lincolnshire, Ill., showcases Brava’s Cedar Shake in the color Natural. The final project, in Lake Bluff, Ill., is a Slate installation in the color Legacy Gray.
- Coppertop Construction & Roofing, headquartered in Gulfport, Fla., for their traditional Spanish Barrel Tile roof in the color Antique Clay on the Stetson College campus.
- Custom Installations Inc., based out of Lake Forest, Ill., for a Winnetka, Ill., Cedar Shake installation in the color Aged Cedar. The project features staggered tiles on the face and sidewalls of some of the dormers of the roof, tiles on the gable returns, and custom copper work.
- Dennis General Contractor, located in Belgrade, Mont., for an installation of Brava Cedar Shake in the color Aged on a home in Bozeman, Mont.
- Douglas Fry Roofing out of Wichita, Kan., has two winning projects. One, in Wichita, features Slate in the color Arendale and was the replacement of a concrete tile roof. The second, in Independence, Kan., is a beautiful church, and the roof was replaced with Brava’s Slate tile in the Washington blend.
- Etruscan Gutters & Roofing, headquartered in Bannockburn, Ill., for the use of Cedar Shake in the shade Natural on a stunning home with copper accents.
- FL Specialty Roofing, headquartered in Altamonte Springs, Fla., has three winning projects. One, located in Bonita Springs, Fla., features Spanish Tile in the color Arendale and is tailored to an upscale neighborhood. The second, in Punta Gorda, Fla., is a large custom roof combining Slate and Spanish Tile in a Black/Brown Blend. The final project, located in Venice, Fla., is a condo project that uses Brava Spanish Tile in the shade Pine Green and is designed to withstand coastal conditions.
- Greater Midwest Exteriors, located in Shorewood, Ill., for an installation of a Shake roof system in the color Lake Forest. The roofing project was completed for former Chicago Bears Center, Olin Kreutz, and features customizations, such as durable copper gutters and a striking copper accent to the chimney, to enhance both the aesthetic and functional aspects of the property.
- Gunner Roofing out of Greenwich, Conn., for a waterfront home roof using Cedar Shake in the color Aged Cedar in Old Saybrook, Conn.
- HARO Roofing, based out of Dallas, for a stone, new construction home in Midlothian, Texas. The project features Brava’s Spanish Barrel Tile in the colors Sonoma and New Aged Terra Cotta and showcases custom turret designs.
- HD Roofing & Solar, headquartered in Longwood, Fla., for a Port Charlotte, Fla., installation with Spanish Barrel tile in the shade of Antigua on five residential community roofs.
- Hytz Roofing Inc. out of Tampa Bay, Fla., for a roof replacement on a home in Cape Coral, Fla., using Brava’s Old World Slate tile in the color Cottage.
- International Roofing LLC out of Fort Myers, Fla., for an installation of old-world Slate Brava tile in the color Charcoal.
- JR & Co. Roofing, headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., for their work on The Westin Resort Cape Coral project in Fort Myers, Fla., using Brava Spanish Barrel Tile.
- Master Craft Roofing out of San Jose, Calif., for the installation of a Cedar Shake roof in the color Aspen on a home in Atherton, Calif.
- NBS Roofing, which serves the Atlanta and Nashville metro areas, for installation of a Cedar Shake roof in the shade Canyon Gray. The project, located in Roswell, Ga., is a stunning roof that combines the beauty of synthetic shake with copper and was approved by the HOA community of a cedar shake neighborhood.
- Orca Roofing & Exteriors out of Bellevue, Wash., has two winning projects. One, in Seattle, showcases a unique combination of Cedar Shake in Light Arendale, metal, and PVC. The other, also in Seattle, is the installation of Cedar Shake in the color Weathered, which transforms an asphalt shingle roof.
- Paradigm Roofing headquartered in McKinney, Texas, for a new build project in Canyon Lake, Texas. The roof, featuring Brava Spanish Barrel tile in the color Mediterranean, significantly enhances the home’s aesthetic and draws the attention of neighbors for its beautiful appearance.
- Precision Construction & Roofing out of North Richland Hills, Texas, has three winning projects. The first, in Weslaco, Texas, is a restoration using Spanish Barrel tile in the shade Aged Mission. The second, in Jackson, Miss., is an installation of Slate roof tile in the color Atlantic, and the roof has hand-fabricated copper elements. The third, in Edwardsville, Ill., showcases the use of Cedar Shake tile in the color Aged Cedar.
- Sabal Construction and Roofing LLC, with locations in Fort Myers and Cape Coral, Fla., for the use of Brava’s Slate tile in the color Tuscan Clay.
- Smart Roofing Inc. out of Chicago has two winning projects. The first, located in Park Ridge, Ill., features a Brava Cedar Shake roof in the color Natural, which perfectly complements the white, beige, and natural dark wood tones of the home. The second, a new construction home also in Park Ridge, features Brava multi-width Slate roof tile in the color Sheridan 535. The roof tile and copper gutters create an aesthetically pleasing mix of modern design with classical architecture.
- Style Exteriors, serving Illinois and Southern Wisconsin, has three winning projects. One, located in Lake Geneva, Wis., features Brava Cedar Shake tile. The other two, located in Lake Forest, Ill., and Northbrook, ILll. feature Brava Cedar Shake in the color Canyon Gray.
- TrueWorks Roofing out of Houston for a project in Cuero, Texas. The contractor replaced a rusted roof with Brava’s Cedar Shake in the color Natural and added custom steel flashings.
- Valley Roofing and Maintenance, headquartered in Meridian, Idaho, for a beautiful Cedar Shake installation in the color Natural. The home, in Jackson, Wyo., has a lot of custom detail, such as snow retention features.
