Hunter Industries has released its 2024 Impact Report, marking the 12th consecutive year the company has shared its progress in sustainability and social impact. The report showcases cross-functional efforts to advance responsible business practices that benefit customers, communities, employees, and the environment.
Key highlights from the 2024 Impact Report include:
- Publication of an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for Hunter’s rotor line, improving product transparency and helping customers meet their own sustainability goals
- Expansion of Hunter’s Community Impact Grants, awarding over $1 million in funding to 80 nonprofit organizations aligned with the company’s core values
- Launch of the Waterwise Garden Grant, developed in partnership with KidsGardening, to provide schools with resources for hands-on sustainability education through garden-based learning
- Doubling of on-site solar energy production at Hunter’s San Marcos, California, headquarters, a major step in reducing the company’s environmental footprint and increasing its use of renewable energy
“We’re proud to share the strides we’ve made to advance sustainability and social impact across every part of our business — from refining our Community Impact Grants process to reinforcing our commitment to responsible manufacturing. Looking ahead, we’ll continue to improve how we evaluate and measure our impact to ensure our support is both thoughtful and effective,” says Warren Gorowitz, director of Sustainability and Social Impact.
