Enverge, an innovator in spray foam insulation solutions, is proud to announce its expansion into Canada and launch the all-new 1860 CDN, bringing advanced insulation to Canadian builders, contractors, and homeowners.

Enverge 1860 CDN is a closed-cell spray foam insulation engineered in compliance with Canadian building codes, formulation requirements, and energy efficiency standards. Designed for superior sprayability, performance, and yield, 1860 CDN delivers enhanced energy efficiency and moisture control.

“We’re thrilled to bring Enverge to Canada and introduce 1860 CDN, a product tailored to meet the unique needs of Canadian builders,” said Lauren Pagano, President of Gaco and Enverge at Holcim Building Envelope. “Our intention is to provide not just premium spray foam insulation but also the technical support and training that helps contractors grow their businesses.”

    Why Spray Foam?

Spray foam has emerged as a superior alternative to traditional insulation materials including fiberglass, not only because of its high thermal efficiency but also its ability to be an effective air, moisture, and vapor barrier. Unlike traditional insulation, which can leave gaps that allow air infiltration, spray foam expands upon application, sealing even the smallest crevices for a more complete thermal envelope. Available in both open-cell and closed-cell formulations, spray foam offers tailored benefits for different applications—open-cell providing flexibility and soundproofing, with closed-cell delivering a higher R-value per inch, enhanced structural integrity, and increased moisture resistance.

With superior insulation comes improved energy efficiency – key for Canada’s winter climates. By minimizing air leakage and thermal bridging, spray foam helps maintain consistent indoor temperatures and can help extend the lifespan of a building.

    Why 1860 CDN?

1860 CDN closed-cell spray foam is engineered for superior adhesion, reduced thermal bridging, and long-term energy efficiency – suitable for new construction and retrofit applications. Its high-density formulation (35 kg/m³ or 2.17 lbs/ft³, per ASTM D-1622) provides structural reinforcement while a Long-Term Thermal Resistance (LTTR) R-value up to 23 at 100mm thickness delivers exceptional insulation performance.

With dedicated sales representatives now covering key territories in Canada, Enverge is committed to supporting the Canadian building community with innovative insulation solutions and expert guidance. Contractors and builders can explore the full range of Enverge products, including 1860 CDN, and access industry insights by visiting EnvergeSprayFoam.com.
