PSMJ Resources Inc., a business publishing, consulting and training organization for the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry, is proud to announce the establishment of a new scholarship fund at Bryant University. The Frank A. Stasiowski, FAIA ’75 MBA and Joan M. Tomaceski PSMJ Resources Inc. Endowed MBA Scholarship Fund is made possible through a generous $500,000 personal gift from PSMJ CEO and Founder Frank A. Stasiowski and his wife Joan.

“Over the past decade as a Trustee at Bryant, I’ve sought to help strengthen the global leadership position of the AEC industry by partnering with the nation’s leading undergraduate business school,” said Stasiowski, a proud 1975 MBA graduate of Bryant University. “This new endowed scholarship is a powerful extension of our long-standing commitment to excellence in the BUSINESS of design—and to ensuring our industry leads not only in creativity, but in strategy, performance, and global impact.”

Designed to support graduate students pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Bryant University, the fund gives preference to those who hold undergraduate degrees in design-oriented disciplines. Eligible fields include architecture, interior design, consulting engineering, landscape architecture, planning, environmental consulting, graphic design, industrial design, film studies, photography, painting, sculpture, fashion design or a related design field.

“This scholarship is deeply personal,” said Stasiowski. “It reflects our firm belief that a strong business education is a game-changer for professionals in creative and design-oriented fields. By easing the financial burden, we hope to inspire emerging leaders to strengthen their strategic, leadership and management skills through an MBA.”

    Scholarship Selection and Eligibility

Recipients will be chosen annually in collaboration with Bryant’s Executive Director of Graduate and Professional Education Programs and the Graduate Programs Committee.

Preference will be given to students who:

    • Hold an undergraduate degree in a design-related field
    • Attend MBA courses in-person
    • Demonstrate strong academic performance
    • Are eager to improve the business performance of firms in our industry

Consideration may also be extended to lifelong learners with an undergraduate degree in a design-related field who have taken multiple graduate certificates that stack towards the completion of an MBA.

The scholarship will be awarded for one academic year but may be renewed for subsequent years, providing the recipient continues to meet the conditions of eligibility.

Additional information on eligibility and how to apply will be available soon.
