According to the National Association of Home Builders, the share of smaller home lots has reached an all-time high. In response to this trend, Latham Group Inc., a designer, manufacturer and marketer of in-ground residential swimming pools in North America, Australia and New Zealand, is expanding its popular Astoria fiberglass pool series with the new Astoria 12—a 12- by 28-foot pool/spa combination that delivers a variety of features in a compact footprint.

Inspired by Latham’s top-selling pool design, the Astoria 12 integrates several key elements, including:

    • Built-in Spa: 6-feet, 6-inches by 5-feet, 11-inches interior for year-round relaxation
    • Tanning Ledge: 3-feet, 11-inches by 7-inches with 12-inch water depth for lounging and sunbathing
    • Swim-Up Benches: Two deep-end benches and one shallow-end bench, all with 20-inch water depth
    • Champagne Wall: A stylish built-in ledge perfect for holding drinks while relaxing
    • Gradual Slope: Depth transitions from 3 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 7 inches, offering both play and plunge zones
    • Safety Ledge: Built-in from shallow to deep end for peace of mind

The Astoria 12 joins the existing Astoria family, which includes 14- and 16-foot models, to create a comprehensive collection of sizes to accommodate virtually any backyard layout. Available in a range of colors and finishes, all models come auto cover ready and are backed by Latham’s lifetime warranty.
