BlueStar, manufacturer of professional-performance kitchen appliances for the home, has opened submissions for its 2026 Kitchen Design Contest. The annual competition celebrates exceptional kitchen design projects featuring BlueStar appliances throughout the United States. The contest is judged by a panel of previous winners, award-winning designers, and BlueStar experts who will evaluate submissions based on best use of BlueStar appliances, overall visual appeal, creativity, and strong principles of kitchen design.

BlueStar invites professional designers, architects, builders, remodelers, and kitchen dealers to submit their projects between now and May 20, 2026, by 12:00 AM EST. To be eligible, projects must have been completed in 2024 or after, and must include at least one BlueStar® cooking appliance. To submit, visit Kitchen Design Contest Entry Form.

One designer will be honored with the prestigious title of 2026 BlueStar Kitchen Designer of the Year, receiving national recognition and prizes valued at up to $20,000. Regional winners will also be named across the continental U.S., with each receiving exclusive BlueStar prizes and brand exposure.

The grand prize winner will receive the following:

    • BlueStar cooking, ventilation, or refrigeration appliances. The combined value of the appliances may not exceed $20,000 in retail value. The prize must be redeemed 12 months from the winner’s announcement.
    • Recognition and advertisement of the project on the BlueStar website and all BlueStar social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.

The regional winners will each receive the following:

    • A BlueStar® cookware set valued between $400 and $600 (retail value).
    • Recognition and advertisement of work on the BlueStar® website and across BlueStar® social media platforms.

In 2025, the grand prize was awarded to Jenn Feldman, designer and founder of her Los Angeles-based studio, for her work on the Brentwood Project, a two-year renovation anchored by a BlueStar 48” Platinum Series Range and custom Atlas Hood in Chestnut Brown. Regional winners included Lindsay Woolf of Woolf Architecture, Jana Gough of Jana Gough Designs, Nicole Forina of Nicole Forina Home, Jeffrey Sherman of Sherman Architects, and Kendra White of Pheasant Hill Designs.

The 2026 BlueStar Kitchen Designer Contest Winners will be announced no later than August 2026.

Since 1880, BlueStar has handcrafted high-performance luxury kitchen appliances in Pennsylvania, offering infinitely customizable options, as unique as the home cooks who use them. For general information, visit www.bluestarcooking.com or join the conversation on social media @bluestarcooking.
