Natural Matte PVDF introduces an ultra?low?gloss PVDF paint system designed to address growing demand for refined aesthetics, reduced glare, and long?term performance in architectural metal applications. Natural Matte PVDF delivers a sophisticated appearance while maintaining the proven durability of a high?performance PVDF coating system applied over a ZINCALUME steel substrate and backed by a 40?year warranty.
By diffusing light rather than reflecting it, Natural Matte PVDF reduces visible shine and glare, allowing metal roofing and siding to integrate more seamlessly with surrounding materials and environments. The finish provides a smooth, low?sheen surface with consistent, batch?to?batch color and minimized unwanted reflectivity. Carbon and Shale were selected for inclusion in AEP Span’s standard color portfolio to align with architectural design trends and complement a wide range of styles.
Carbon and Shale are now available to order across all 24- and 22-gauge architectural panel profiles produced in Tacoma, Wash. Samples are available upon request to support specification and design review.
