Garnica, a manufacturer of premium sustainable plywood recently announced the launch of EverPly+, an advanced thermally fused laminate (TFL) on plywood solution developed in collaboration with Genesis Products. The panels were showcased at the Kitchen & Bathroom Industry Show (KBIS) 2026, one of the industry’s leading events, in Orlando earlier this year.
EverPly+ combines Genesis’s expertise in decorative surface systems with Garnica’s high-performance, sustainably-sourced plywood. The result is a solution engineered to address longstanding challenges in decorative panel fabrication, including thickness variability, core consistency, weight, and durability. While TFL is commonly applied to particleboard or MDF, plywood has historically been more difficult to use due to core variability, splicing requirements, and machining limitations. EverPly+ overcomes these barriers by using Garnica’s virtually void-free Efficiency Poplar plywood as the core, enabling:
- Precise thickness accuracy for consistent fabrication and assembly.
- Lightweight performance. EverPly+ is approximately 15 percent lighter than particleboard.
- Improved machinability and extended tool life due to a less abrasive core.
- Enhanced strength and moisture resistance compared to traditional composite substrates.
EverPly+ demonstrates how responsibly sourced plywood can deliver precision and durability without compromising on aesthetics.
