Morin Product Lines Receive Florida Product Approval

Morin, a manufacturer of architectural metal wall and roof systems, announced that multiple product lines have received Florida Product Approval, verifying compliance with the Florida Building Code’s rigorous wind resistance and safety requirements. The approval covers key Morin systems, including the Matrix Series, Integrity Series, Pulse Series, SymmeTry Series, SLR Series, MorZip and select exposed-fastener products.

Florida Product Approval is widely recognized as one of the nation’s most stringent product evaluation programs due to the state’s exposure to hurricanes, high winds and severe weather events. By meeting these requirements, Morin provides architects, specifiers, contractors and building owners with added confidence that approved systems have been evaluated for use in demanding environmental conditions.

“Achieving Florida Product Approval reflects Morin’s commitment to engineering high-performance building envelope solutions,” said Ilhan Eser, President & CEO of Morin. “This milestone gives our customers a streamlined path to specification and permitting in Florida while reinforcing the performance and reliability that define our systems.”

The benefits extend far beyond Florida. Because many Gulf Coast and Southeastern states face similar weather challenges, design teams throughout the region often look to Florida-approved products as a benchmark for performance. The approval can help simplify product evaluation and increase confidence in system selection for projects in surrounding states and regions.

Morin’s Florida approval is further strengthened by its manufacturing presence in DeLand, Florida, enabling regional production, responsive service and shorter lead times.

Approved products are suited for a wide range of building types, including education, healthcare, civic, commercial, institutional, sports and mixed-use facilities. Examples of Florida projects featuring Morin systems include Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Residence Hall, the Orlando Magic Training Facility, Kirkland Ranch Academy of Innovation and Valencia College (Poinciana Campus).

For project-specific compliance information, including tested assemblies, approved gauges, material options and applicable configurations, architects and contractors should contact Morin Technical Support.
