Duravit has launched its Collection One Two Piece Toilet, produced exclusively for the US and Canada. Joining the award-winning bathroom series, formerly known as the Qatego Collection, the new toilet expands on the renowned global design agency’s high-end bathroom concept introduced in 2023. Inspired by stones worn smooth by water, Collection One features a minimalist aesthetic, balanced proportions and sculptural precision, bringing harmony to the bathroom. As one of the first new product releases from Duravit’s new North American Manufacturing Facility in Matane, Canada, the Collection One Two Piece Toilet underscores Duravit’s commitment to local, carbon neutral production. The 35,000 square meter, state-of-the-art production facility is one of the world’s first to fire sanitary ceramics with electric roller kilns powered by 99.6 percent renewable hydropower.
First previewed at BDNY (Boutique Design New York) 2025, the new Two Piece Toilet provides exceptional comfort through its universal elongated, soft close seat and high-performance flushing. It is crafted with the brand’s ceramic protective glaze innovation, DuraShield, which creates a nearly pore-free surface for easy cleaning and features positively charged metal ions that form an invisible shield to eliminate 99.99 percent of bacteria within 24 hours. In addition, the toilet features Duravit’s Rimless flushing technology, which effectively rinses the inside of the bowl using less water per flush. The Two Piece Toilet blends harmoniously with the timeless design and overall calm aesthetic of Collection One.
This strategic product introduction is the first of many high quality bathroom ceramics, toilets, and sinks that the facility will produce exclusively for the US and Canada, addressing the growing demand for sustainable production and competitive lead times.
