The Concrete Foundations Association (CFA) announced the winners of the 2026 CFA Service and Project Awards during the 2026 CFA Convention held at the Brookfield Conference Center in Milwaukee.
The awards recognize outstanding achievement in cast-in-place concrete construction, honoring both the individuals who advance the industry and the projects that set a new standard for craftsmanship, innovation and technical excellence.
2026 CFA Service Awards Winners
The following individuals and organizations were recognized for their commitment to the values, mission and advancement of CFA.
- Robert D. Sawyer Award: Kirby Justesen of SCW Footings & Foundations
- Contractor of the Year: Thompson Concrete Foundations
- Associate of the Year (Company): Western Forms Inc.
- Innovative Contractor of the Year Award: Scott Renfroe of Foundation Builders Inc.
- Golden Tie Award: Concrete Forms Services
Awards were presented across multiple project categories, with one overall Grand Project of the Year honored for its exceptional scale, complexity and execution.

- Single Family Foundation (2,001 to 5,000 sq. ft): Grangard Residence
- Single Family Foundation (5,001 to 10,000 sq. ft): Riccardelli Residence
- Single Family Foundation (10,0001 to 15,000 sq. ft): Riverview Road House
- Multi-Family Apartment/Townhomes: Charter Senior Living
