    KBIS Global Connect Lounge Announces Programming

    The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), representing nearly 50,000 North American kitchen and bath industry professionals, and the owners of the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), announces the KBIS 2024 Global Connect Lounge Program at the Las Vegas Convention Center (South Hall SL-7105), on February 27-29th, 2024.

    International Brand Spotlight Presentations

    New-to-the-market brands from New Zealand, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, and Ukraine will present a series of brand spotlights on Tuesday, February 27th at 9:30-11:00 AM and Wednesday, February 28th, at 10:30 -11:30 AM. Each will share their brand stories and product innovations in 10 minute shorts.

    • –  Dekker Specialty Worktops
    • –  SICAM Expo for International Components and Accessories
    • –  Ukraine Lviv Sector

    International Events

    Three panel discussions and presentations, featuring new-to-the-market brands introducing new cooking technology, lighting designs, and specialty European furniture accessories and components, as well as a taste of Eastern European culture will take place on the lounge floor.

    BORA Happy Hour: The Thoughtful Kitchen – Healthy Spaces and Happy Places, February 27, 2024 (4:00-5:00 PM)

    The BORA team presents an interactive discussion about The Thoughtful Kitchen, exploring ideas around: the kitchen is MORE than just a collection of cabinets and appliances – it represents the soul of the home and the people that live in it. Cooking is MORE than just preparing food – it is an activity that allows us to nurture, nourish and cultivate human relationships. Healthy living is MORE than just eating our vegetables – it requires thoughtful space plans, clean air, ease of maintenance to support emotional and physical wellness. Healthy bites and delicious drinks will be served.

    UKRAINE Lviv Cluster Breakfast Session: Meet Ukraine! Manufacturers and Artisans Present a Selection of the Best Products and Designs from Ukraine, February 28, 2024 (9:00-10:00 AM)

    A wide range of Ukraine-based presentations will be in the Global Connect Lounge for this year’s breakfast session at KBIS. From lamps, to marble, to fully-custom kitchens this session introduces Ukraine’s world of design.

    The co-exhibitors for this session are:

    RICHELIEU – “Seeing the Light” – Exploring International Lighting Design Trends February 28, 2024 (4:00 – 5:00 PM)

    See what international brands are developing to “light up” interiors. This panel discussion, moderated by Sherry Qualls invites Global Connect member Elektra and their North American distribution partner, Richelieu, along with Domus lighting, to share the newest in lighting trends from around the globe.

    Global Connect Roundtable Discussions

    Two roundtable discussions, designed for new-to-the-market international brands, organization and association attendees will take place in the Lounge. Designed to help international kitchen and bath professionals better understand the North American kitchen and bath market, these discussions take a deep dive into market realities.

    Understanding the Role of the Designer February 27, 2024 (12:00-1:00 PM)

    Moderated by Veronika Miller and featuring Global Connect Advisor, Jeanne Chung, North American kitchen and bath designers will share their business models and strategies for success.

    Go-to-Market Strategies – Understanding Sales and Distribution Models, February 28, 2024 (12:00-1:00 PM)

    Moderated by Sherry Qualls and featuring three Global Connect Advisors, Bill Butler, Jeremy Parcels, and Sam Rose, various go-to-market considerations will be discussed, helping to illustrate the many options for showing and selling products in North America.
