AprilAire has launched two S84 Series Thermostats to complete the AprilAire S-Series Thermostat line. New S84 models include a single-stage, 1 heat/1 cool option (Model S84N1H1C) and a single-stage universal option (Model S84NSU) to meet the needs of AprilAire professional partners alongside the rest of the S-Series line. New S84 models are simply refreshing and provide a new level of peace-of-mind for homeowners: They are easy to install, easy to set up and easy to use.
The S84 series makes it easy to control the temperature of the home to fit the family’s needs. Users can get started quickly with best-in-class schedule setup and the all days, weekdays, weekends, or seven-day programmability options. The 1.77-inch LCD interface provides quick access to the initial setup, providing real-language instructions and information—there are no codes to remember or manuals to track down. In addition, the S84 Series has a convenient Heat Blast option to quickly raise the temperature by 3 to 5 F and features Progressive Recovery to achieve the desired temperature just before the programmed time comes around. This smart design ensures homeowners stay comfortable and can enjoy their preferred settings on a specific, personalized schedule. These dual powered (battery or C-wire) thermostats can also alert to filter replacements and service checks needed for the HVAC system, and two AA Alkaline batteries are included. S84 Series Thermostats display the room’s actual temperature, the set temperature, and outdoor temperature (with optional outdoor temperature sensor).
