Clopay is expanding its residential entry door line with a new Smooth Fiberglass collection featuring trending designs, including Shaker, Craftsman, Modern and Rustic styles; deep recessed panels with crisp, contemporary edge profiles; a brushed etched surface for better paint adhesion; and a robust internal construction that resists thermal bowing.

Clopay now offers complementing fiberglass entry doors, a real benefit to builders and homeowners who want to coordinate the style, windows and finish of their garage and front door.

Clopay is the only residential garage door manufacturer to offer complementing fiberglass entry doors, a real benefit to builders and homeowners who want to coordinate the style, windows and finish of their garage and front door.

The variety of designs and window styles along with minimal detailing bridges the gap between modern and traditional making these doors an appealing choice for a variety of home styles: classic farmhouse, historic bungalows, coastal cottages, Dutch colonial, contemporary, transitional, Mid-Century and more.

In addition to the new designs, another big difference homeowners and builders will notice is the engineering and quality of the materials used in the construction. Vertical stiles made of laminated stranded lumber run the entire length of the door on both the hinge and lock sides for strength and rigidity against thermal bow. The visible edge of the door stile is made of hardwood, giving the appearance of a luxury door encased in a durable, sustainable package.

Both the interior and exterior door surface have a fiberglass reinforced skin with brush stroke etching for superior paint adhesion.

The new Smooth Fiberglass styles designs include a solid flush door along with two- and three-panel Shaker, Rustic, Modern, and Craftsman designs. Decorative half-view, three-quarter view, and Craftsman size windows in either clear or frosted glass can be added. For Mid-Century architecture, Clopay is introducing narrow 3.5- by 22-inch three-lite and five-lite horizontal and vertical windows, a unique and innovative size in the industry.

The entire entry door system can be factory-finished in a choice of 18 paint colors for a complete, ready-to-install unit.

Clopay fiberglass entry doors are Energy Star rated, NFRC-certified, and carry a Limited Lifetime warranty. Use the dealer locator at clopaydoor.com to find a local installer.
