Allied Air Enterprises announces the new A98MV 98 percent AFUE High Efficiency Modulating Furnace under the Armstrong Air and AirEase brands. The A98MV features modulating heat for superior comfort over traditional single-stage and two-stage products and qualifies for up to $600 in tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act.*

With a 98 percent AFUE Efficiency Rating, 98 percent of the fuel is converted into usable heat. Compared to an older furnace, this can potentially save homeowners hundreds of dollars per year in energy costs. With a variable-speed fan motor, the change of airflow speed during start-up allows the A98MV furnace to adjust humidity levels and create more even temperatures throughout the home, all while enhancing efficiency and reducing operating noise.

The modulating furnace can be paired with the Armstrong Air and AirEase Pro Series variable-capacity air conditioner or heat pump and a Comfort Sync thermostat, for optimum performance. While the Pro Series furnace provides complete climate control and helps lower energy costs, pairing this model with a Comfort Sync A3 Thermostat will allow it to continuously monitor internal components for optimum performance. Comfort Sync puts the user in total control of their home environment with remote temperature adjustment from anywhere, via the smartphone app. When Comfort Sync detects that maintenance is needed, it alerts the homeowner and dealer instantly to ensure continuous performance.

Features of the A98MV Modulating Furnace:

    • Quiet Combustion Technology: The units use a smaller Btu input per burner for quieter start-up and operation while providing more even heat distribution.
    • Advanced Heat Exchanger: Made from stainless steel for maximum strength, the heat exchangers are highly resistant to thermal fatigue and other stresses caused by repeated heating and cooling. During the testing process, they are subjected to temperatures that far exceed normal operating ranges, to ensure they will stand up to years of use.
    • EHX Technology: Every Armstrong Air and AirEase furnace is engineered and built with Even Heat Exchange (EHX) Technology, a patented design that eliminates hot spots that can shorten furnace life. EHX Technology makes heat exchangers more durable, and with its advanced airflow system, more air contacts the heat exchanger surface area for greater heat exchange, enhancing efficiency and comfort.
    • ENERGY STAR Certified: The ENERGY STAR program is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy helping us all save money and protect the environment through energy-efficient products and practices.
    • 10-year limited warranty on parts and a limited lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger.**

*Allied Air Enterprises (“Allied”) is not acting in the capacity of a legal or tax advisor and does not make any representation, warranty, guarantee or other assurance as to whether a particular match-up qualifies or is eligible for a tax credit or rebate. As a result, Allied highly recommends that you and your customers consult with a tax advisor or attorney regarding a homeowner’s qualification for a tax credit/rebate in their particular circumstance and verify and review the applicable laws and regulations. Allied expressly disclaims all liability for damages of any kind arising out of a homeowner’s claim for a tax credit/rebate. This information is subject to change without notice.
